NORDIC INTERTRADE is an independent steel trading company; selling a combination of steel products and knowledge (“problem solver” for seller and buyer) – giving added value to the steel.

NORDIC INTERTRADE is purchasing steel from mills which are producing according to Euronorm (EN) and other norms, having limited own sales network for export and need to have larger tonnages for shipments combining several customer requirements.

NORDIC INTERTRADE’s competence is the

• purchasing ability and steel knowledge
• sufficient financing knowledge and capacity
• insurance knowledge (transport and credit insurances)
• sales ability, knowledge, capacity, and “problem solver”
• extensive transport knowledge (buying FOB, selling CIF). We charter about 125 vessels per year.

Since NORDIC INTERTRADE was etablished in 1979 we have grown to be a sizable European steel trader. We are presently selling 500,000 tons steel equal to about EUR 300 mill (about USD 400 mill.). Such turnover is only possible with extended confidence both amongst our suppliers and customers, our partners for finance, insurance and logistic as well as highly qualified employees and agents.
